Suggestions

If you’re interested in having one of your own articles put up on this page, or if you have a suggestion as for someone who deserves an article on DCQC, we encourage you to post your submission as a new topic on DCQC’s dedicated board on the METOKUR Forums.

Suggesting Targets

Be sure to include a link to the profile of whoever you are suggesting, a sampling of some of their worst art, and any other background information you might have on them that might be relevant to our article. Don’t expect us to write your article for you overnight: It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, assuming we agree to write it for you in the first place. We reserve the right to ignore your suggestions if they aren’t bad enough for DCQC, if we don’t think they’ll react amusingly to having an article, or if it’s obvious to us that you’re trying to use us as your personal army.

Submitting Articles

More likely than not, your article will require some “tweaking” before it’s ready to be posted on the site. While this process usually includes formatting and spell-checking, it might also see us re-writing portions of the article. By submitting your article to us, you agree to let us make whatever changes we want to it, before posting it on the site.

Your article will be filed under the “Guest Authors” category. Unless you indicate you’d prefer otherwise, you’ll be credited in the first line of the article, and addressed as your username on the METOKUR Forums.

Here are some general guidelines as to formatting and what we look for in an article are concerned:

  • Provide links to the profile of the subject(s) of the article.
  • Provide links to the submissions featured in the article, placed directly under the submissions in question.
  • Try to provide at least one or two valid criticisms with each piece. Don’t just tell readers “it sucks because it’s crap:” Give some proper reasons as to why it’s crap. After that, feel free to make fun of the art / artist in whichever way you please.
  • If you plan on commenting on multiple pictures in a single article [which we highly encourage you do], try to have some sort of theme that ties all the shit together. (If you’re focusing on a single user on dA, consider that your theme)
  • Porn / hentai pictures are totally allowed. Anything goes, so long as it’s legitimately bad. (Or if the submitter is a bad person)

We look forward to seeing what crap you churn out your wonderful and valued submissions to our Internet webzone!!
